MISSION:

The Pat Clinch Peace project is a “flash” fundraising group uniting the community through music, food and art in memory of Pat Clinch.

GOAL:

The Pat Clinch Peace Project seeks to keep Pat’s spirit alive in our community by continuing to benefit people and make life better for others. We seek to help organizations and individuals create a positive impact in the lives of others. We are not a non-profit organization, we are not a foundation, an LLC or anything else along those lines. We are simply the “conduit” that connects the community to the cause. 100% of every penny we raise goes directly to the cause.

BACKGROUND:

Throughout his life, Pat Clinch aspired to make lives better. From simply making someone smile when they were having an off day to rolling up his sleeves and getting to work in community projects, Pat gave generously of his time and talent and cared deeply
about others.

Pat and his wife, Maggie, have been involved in countless community projects throughout the years. From local music, art, food and culture to running businesses and raising their two daughters, Iris and Juniper, Pat & Maggie have remained passionate about their hometown, Lincoln, NE and their community. They have constantly sought ways to use their passion and talents to enhance the community and make life better and more interesting for other people. Pat passed away on May 25, 2015 after a short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Even in their most challenging moments Pat and Maggie remained focused on helping others and serving their community. Giving back, connecting people and embracing community have been constants in the lives of Pat and Maggie and with this project, we seek to keep that spirit alive.

What is a “Flash” Fundraising Group and who does it benefit?

When we see a need or an opportunity in our community, The Pat Clinch Peace Project
springs into action. Our efforts range from hands on volunteering to fundraising for
organizations that align with our mission.
